Also, you'll have to remove the cable assembly from the lock, and the lock, and as I've learned from others posts, once you remove the cable from the lock the cable won't stay attached once you put it back on..... here say but be aware.
 
I am going to my local salvage yard tomorrow and they had a cover there that was damaged. It had two rubber key covers and I bought one a couple of weeks ago. I will see if the other one is there. If all you need is the rubber cap, it will be easy to replace. I know a new one is over $45.00. Ford makes you buy the whole rubber assembly.
 
I also posted on the swap & sell board and a member is sending me the cover for $20. So Tommy, perhaps Steve can help you out. I know that the whole assembly from Ford was going to set me back $75!
