I bought a motorcycle on Ebay last week, so Friday/Saturday I made the 530 mile drive from central Missouri to SE Kentucky to pick it up with my 6x12 utility trailer.

Loaded up the bike, a 2011 Kawasaki Voyager (837#), strapped it down, and made the 530 mile trip back home.

I had no problems. The Trac ran great and pulled it just fine. Only problem I had was 13.1 mpg average for the trip, but I ran 75 MPH most of the time.

I towed my PWC (about 900 pounds with trailer) on a 4 hour trip recently and was surprised to see that I averaged about 17 mpg, but the speed limit was 55 for the majority of the drive.

Last weekend I towed my 18 ft Covered Wagon enclosed car trailer back to Ohio with my 1970 Mach 1 inside. I wish I got 13 mpg! I made it about 150 miles before I stopped for gas. I probably could have made the 170 mile trip on one tank but I didn't want to push my luck. Do the math. It ain't pretty. I was running I-80 most of the way which is a bear in western PA. Lots of hills which obviously killed my mileage. The Trac pulls it fine and I had no problem maintaining the 65 mph speed limit even on the worst hills. BTW, those Rancho Quick Lift shocks cured my rear tire rub issues with the BFG 265/65/18 All-Terrains. With the factory springs and shocks those bigger tires would rub if I hit a big dip or bump while towing.
