Gen 1 is a bolt on hitch.... can buy them anywhere.... do not use a universal... get a sport trac one..

Thanks. I got lucky A man was parting out his 02 trac and it had hitch. 50 bucks and it was 8 miles from where I work. 4 bolts. Beats $155 plus tax
