Did't Ford have a notice for an additive to be added to the transmission oil during the

last part of 2004? I received a notice for my 05. It was about 4oz thick stuff that was

poured into the dip stick.

I thought that was because the fluid needed an additive that wasn't in the fluid originally. They sopposedly fixed it with the new tranny fluid having the additive in there. May be wrong though. (they also upgraded the shifting packs for the 2003's and up I think)

Ford put the wrong fluid in some of the '04-'05 Transmissions...they were covering up there mistake.....
