Wife, 3 dogs and I traded in our 2013 Rockwood Roo 20' trailer this past week. Upgraded to a new 30' Grey Wolf travel trailer with more room. Picking up new one in a month. Glad I got a "V8".

I moved my weekend warrior with my v6 and then remembered why i got a excursion with v10 but downhill my trac was moving.

V10 would absolutely do it. Luckily we will be just moving the new one 60 miles to our property near Crivitz, WI. Leaving it there to enjoy the north woods. Won't have to unfold both ends of trailer like previous one.

Funny, i just was looking at upgrading to a 38' montana 5th wheel.should have seen the look on the salesmans face when when i pulled up infront of it in my 01 trac...he tried explaining that my little trac couldnt possibly carry the pin weight, let alone drag it down the road. Finally i told him, dude, relax, i have a 97 f450 4x4 7.3 at home and if it wasnt big enough, i gurantee that the 01 pete 379 was!...lol

Picked up our new 2022 camper right before Memorial Day and our truck had no problem towing the 4800 lbs. Got only 10.5 mpg towing camper, with 3 dogs, wife and gear on our trip. Normally we get 20.5 mpg or so without towing. Fortunately for us we leave our camper at our site near Crivitz, Wisconsin. These are awesome trucks.
