update on 07 bedmat

Thank so ncstatewolfpacker, Gary & SVT1848 for your advice. Sad to say we checked with all & were unsuccessful . We'll keep on checking different places however will

probably have to settle for a plain mat. We don't really need one until spring so if you hear of an ST parting out items & have an ST mat please turn them our way or us onto them.

6L2Z-99112A15-A. Well I went ahead and tried to get info on the mat from ford motor co. and the rep said it is discontinued and none of the U.S. dealers have one in stock or can order. Sorry and good luck.

we live in Colorado Zoey & I see you learned what we did.

Jupton, Marv called & left a message stating what he wanted but no one has called as of yet. He ordered the mat on several sites that showed they had them in stock only to receive a message afterwards that they were out of stock.:bwahaha:

TX Jupton, we were finally able to talk with a 'live' body at oempartz this morning.

they checked stock then advised they were out & Ford quit supplying them. He didn't know why Ford would have done it but they have.

now our only hope would be to find a used one:cry:

I doubt you would want an 01-05 mat but I know 3 dealers that have 1 of them I think the only difference is the knoch where the wheel well bumps out in the box of 07-10 would prbly need to be altered. Why ford halted accessories for the 2 gen already is beyond me. Check Craigslist from time to time. there was an ad in the Poconos in Pennsylvania that had one a while ago but the listing is gone

I am using a gen 1 mat in my gen 2. The length is correct, but it is about two inches too narrow at the wheel wells and forward, and about 7 inches too narrow behind the wheel wells (on each side). Not a bad fit, but I've been following this thread in hopes of finding one that is correct. I'm afraid to buy a "no name" mat for fear of disappointment.
