To start with,, the 2500 rpm rattle is pretty much gone. Only happens once in a while. So I'll drive till it stops. I have 71K on my factory tires which are worn pretty good, so, I'm getting 4 Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G053, 225/75 16E tires. ANY THOUGHTS ON THESE TIRES? Can't afford the Michelins I want... oh well.... Also, the tie rod ends I was to to replace... nope,, they are good. My alignment is shot. Need camber kits. Now all I need is some new shocks, brakes and to win the lottery, then I'll be good to go.

Good news that that rattle is subsided! Keep your fingers crossed!!

Never run Geolanders on anything but have heard favorable comments. Guess you may be the Guinea pig! I have seen the Yoko's on some Tracs and other SUV's though.

The Ford dealer is installing Generals on my '08 E250 as we speak. Not too concerned with them since I'll get an '11 in Oct. They were as cheap as the no-name chain store tires. ($580 as a reference for you ) I have 139K on it and it does need shocks, tires dipping on the inside.

I had 65K on my OEM LT245/75R16 Hankook Dynapro AS and still had tread left but it was getting to be snow/ice weather. I have 74K on the GY RT/S's on it now and have been waiting for them to wear out, POS they are. Beat me to death for 74K miles!
