I'll help you out a ton. Below are the part numbers and mod names of what I did on my 2008 and my 2010 STA V8.
I did the below mods twice and I did them in different combinations and in stages. I wouldn't waste my money on anything else. These are tried and true.
I did:
Steeda Underdrive Pulley Kit 701-0005A
Zabteck Modified Throttle Body V8 4.6L
SOS Ignition Coil Set 31850 (didn't do a damn thing without increasing the gap)
K&N 57-2573 FIPK
SCT Xcal3 ECM & TCM Tune (87 and 93 Octane) By Torrie @ Unleashed, Strategy JPCH1A5, TPBF0, 9L2P-7J104-AG. PCM Code: SHS7
Magnaflow 14236 Exhaust
DMH E-Cutout (super fun noise maker lol)
Psycareyo 2" Drop Springs (currently not available)
Everything else is pretty expensive. You could do new heads, port or polish, supercharger, STS turbo...all those add serious power but the cost is pretty insane. I had like $9,000 into my STA and I bet Supercharged SVT is closer to $13,000+ in his. While the power is great, the power per dollar ratio is horrible. Even with that extra power, you still have one of the worst shifting 6 speed automatics that Ford has ever made.

Mike, I'm the "other member" that EddieS'04 helped with the underdrive pulleys. I just drove from Houston to Oklahoma city on the 87 octane performance tune from Torrie Mc.,and by the oem mileage calculator got 23.7 mpg at 65 mph and then increased speed to 70 mph for rest of trip and overall average by the oem was 22.7 mpg. Mine is an 07 Ltd. with all the mods Todd Z. recommended.

I've made a few sets and other members have made some drop springs. It's expensive and the drop is pretty small. One member had his springs cut and reshaped and the results were awesome.
I've researched the hell out of it, engineered my own springs and test fit four prototypes and sold a dozen or so sets of 1.5" and 2" drop.
Make sure you specify what drive type and engine combo you have because that greatly effects the springs. For instance, AWD drop springs will net almost no drop on a 2WD configuration.
If you STEAL a set of springs, you're looking at about $750. Most run at almost $1,000.
The guy I sold my Saleen STA to, has the springs for sale. If you have an AWD V8 they may work but you would need to verify the spring part numbers as the 2010 suspension is slightly revised from the 2008. I believe the springs were different part numbers for the 2010 to better utilize the stiffer rear sway bar.

That's a lot of great information, and very close to what I was thinking I needed but didn't know what the pulleys were all about. And I hadn't thought about a new ignition coil set.
What would you say to order first? This will have to be done piece-meal as I spent a lot (for me) on the truck, and you know the wife will say... "you've only had it a week and you want to change it??".
I'm leaning towards doing the K&N FIPK, Steeda pulley, and Magnaflow 14236 first. That's as much as I feel comfortable spending right now. But a few questions...
The Magnaflow 14236 in pics have offset inlet and outlet ports. The one on the STA is center in and offset out and it's all welded in place, or so it appears to me. How do these get installed and is the offset an issue?
Also, how much can I do without the SCT tunes since that is the single most expensive part? If I could upgrade it all now I would. Perhaps I should save up and do it all at once next year?

Psycareyo, my "eyeball" lowering would really be more like 1" to 2" but from your description it's out of my league for quite a while.

I'd do the Intake, Zabteck TB, Exhaust and tune in one shot. That way your new tune can account for the additional intake and exhaust flow. None of the other mods require tuning. The ignition coils are useless unles you want to expand the spark plug gap and that means taking the plugs out and it's not worth the effort/cost.
You can do everything without the SCT tuner but you'll only be getting like 60% of the benifit of all the other mods.
The absolute single biggest and most bang for the buck mod...is the tune.
The muffler won't be an issue because you will be removing a lot of the factory stuff under the vehicle. You will be taking out the muffler and the resonator.

The drop looks awesome but you can achieve a similar look with 22" rims and tires and then just roll on your OEMs for the winter. If you're not the type to wait on buying rims when you have set aside months and months of cash...you can always go through BillMeLater.com and go directly to TireRack.com. I think they may even offer a 0 payment and 0 interest for XX months deal.
It will cost more than springs but you retain your OEM suspension travel. The G2 tracs have some pretty limited suspension travel (can see in my library pics) and lowering or raising them significantly limites the axle shaft travel for the rear.

Wow, that was fast. With that list I guess it'll be a couple of months (Christmas perhaps :cry: ) before I jump. I'll check out cardomain for the mods so I have a better idea of what things should look like. Don't think I'll swing 22's but I looked under the trac yesterday and thought the same thing about the suspension travel.

Well, you have a truck that looks like nothing else on the road. In my opinion, it's breathtaking. I wish I could afford to keep either of the two I had lol.
With all that dead sexy awesomeness exterior...the truck HAS GOT TO SOUND GOOD. If you do nothing else...do the exhaust first.
I'd do it in this order:
1) Exhaust
2) Intake
3) SCT Tune
4) Zabteck TB (doesn't require a retune)
5) Steeda UDP
If you really want to unlock that NASCAR loud, amazing V8 sound, you can do a DMH electronic exhaust cutout. The cool thing is that you can push a button anywhere in your truck and open and close the cutout. Thus, the sound can be Magnaflow loud or ear splitting loud lol.
