:banana::banana:

you got me by a full second :(

in 07 i ran my o7,4x4, v-8 heavy fully loaded trac.

16.2 was it.

so thats why i went out a got a fully loaded v-8 toyota 4runner :)

can't wait to get it to the track as it is quick!

1tech,

i also question as my 07 sounds very similar and the published test runs put it at very low 16's. imo a 15.2 with that setup and weight is in qeustion.

tom,

your right, i don't know how to drive

please bring something to the table other than your silly satements.

btw, where is your rocket escort that you have been dreaming ? (blowing smoke up our a...)

AGAIN, your table is empty

I'd have ALL u guys over a barrel with my 1970 " Boss 429 Tang" nearly 4 DECADES later! LOL

I would also have been A LOT smarter (and richer), if I didn't panic over the first U.S. oil embargo in '73 and "give" her away for pennies on the dollar. I AM STILL KICKING MYSELF! Boo-Hoo!

P.S.- Pls. don't say it's "only" money, this was my FIRST "true" sweetheart. Anybody got a gun? haha :(

swshawaii, '70 429 Boss is my dream 'Stang. Not that is was the fastest out there, it wasnt. Also was a tuners pita. It is just the nostalgia of the rarity. Also I like the '70 more than the '69 body. The 429 '70 body had subtle differences over the other '70 bodies that I like. Had a clean unclutered look.

Attn: Fast Eddie '04 - Thanks for "reminding" me of her "perfect" clean body. I still have wet dreams about my first love. Needless to say I am NOT going to even look at her "market" value.

After 40 years, I don't think there are many left out of 500 produced. ALOHA, Steve

Hey Shirley..you called me Notech so I think Shirley is justified. Wasn't trying to ruffle your pin feathers. Just your time seems a little low to me considering the vehicle and mods. I would have expected more like a 1/2 sec reduction in 1/4 mile time. It takes alot of added horsepower to realize a full second reduction in 1/4 mile time as long as traction was never an issue and all other variables reamined the same, and IMO your added mods don't equate into that big of a horsepower increase. You seem very proud of the time so I am surprised that you don't have a time slip. Would have loved to see it is all. You never did say if your time was corrected or not.

Are all sorts of E/T calculators on the net.

With perfect conditions, perfect launch etc, You need 295 at the crank @ 4800 lbs to run mid 15s

As we said in the Seventies. "For Papers" (or title). IOW - "ALL IN" See u guys at the track with pink slips in hand. NUFF SAID !!!:huh:

hey notech, J/K

i agree that you will not gain a full second with those mods. i had the same vehicle with a magnaflow cat-back and i ran a 16.2. the tune and intake will not be enough to run a 15.2 imo.

tom,

nice try on the back pedal attempt
