Over the long long winter I bumped into a pile of snow and ice in a parking lot somewhere. Have a dent in the lower right front corner of the plastic valence under the front bumper. A hammer didn't do any good then but the weather was cold. Now that it's warm, does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks.

Remove the part. SLOWLY soften the dent from the inside with a heat gun on the lowest setting, and push it out. Worked very well on a Focus bumper with a deep softball sized dent.

Yeah, I broke mine in the snow and bought a new one from Torrie. Are you sure the mounting hardware isn't somehow holding it in the dented position. I think there are 8 or 10 plastic push in hardware thingys holding it on.

It's on the right front corner and not near the mounting hardware. About a softball sized dent like swshawaii had. I'll see if I can borrow a heat gun. Thanks.

I think swhawaii is correct. I have never done it, but I have heard that you can heat a plastic bumper cover or valance panel with a heat gun and you can push out the dent by hand...with a glove on, of course.
