I make videos for church party's and the like. With my software, Cyberlink Power Producer, I takes 3 DVDs for a 2 hour party! Do you all know of an inexpensive software that will compress the videos better than what I have?

Thanks Ed

Windows movie maker will compress video down to standard dvd's. (free) assuming you are on a windows computer.

Tks JD, I have that, 'hope that it will burn disks as well.

God bless Ed

JD et all. I took a closer look at Windows movie maker. It has limited editing capabilities. I need one that will do things like brightness, contrast, sharpen, and stuff like that there. Thanks though.

Ed, I will talk with our music minister. He does these things for our church website. He use to work IBM. He sets up our recorded projections from his computer.

If you need to give me more info specifics. My email is in my profile.

Also you might want to check this website. She is a computer geru. Knows of alot of free download apps. Checked and cleared for virus and malware.

Blessings, Eddie

Do all your editting in another program and export it as a format that windows movie maker can handle. Import to movie maker and compress, one compressed export to format for dvd..

This is the best they make in my opinion..

Thanks guys, I am downloading a trial version of pinnacle now. If that isn't right, I will check out Kim Komando. Eddie, if your music minister has any ideas, I would be happy to hear them. Roger, I need to edit the videos before burning them. Thanks though.

God bless Ed

Ed,

Like JDBoxes said. Edit in your favorite program and then export as a windows movie maker compatible form and then import and compress. I worked for a big a/v editing and production company, we used Final Cut Pro with Compressor to make almost everything.

WOW, maybe it is my computer. I downloaded Pinnacle. The 4th try installing it, I let it go for 3 hours. Finally did install. So I tried to run it today and gave up after 5 min and it was only 28% open. 'derided that Pinnacle was not right for me and uninstalled it. 'took another 20min to do that. I don't think that I can afford Final Cut, I'll go see what Kim Komando will offer.

Thanks for your help Ed
