The United States Government , in a rare move last May, admitted that they had made serious mistakes and miscalculations in the amount of time and forces it would take to
remedy the situation in Iraq. Under intense pressure to bring the war to a quick and sucessful
end, the following posters and flyers were put up in select locations around Middle Tennessee, Northern Alabama, and Southern Kentucky, urging all interested persons to
immediately report to the recruiting station of their choice for immediate deployment:
Attention, Y'all:
Osama don't like grits, bass fishin', pick-up trucks, homemade biscuits, 'ner any manner of
chewin' terbacca! He also hates Jesus and Beer! He does, however, like 'yer mama and
'yer little sister! ...Y'all Come!
After the initial deployment of the first 1,000 volunteers, the war was over in 30 days!
