what are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for STs?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone run their ST at a track???



if so, what numbers did you put up.... If you havent been to a track, whats your 0-60 time?



I am just checking if mine is slow... my 05 gets 11-12 seconds to 60 (stock with 265/75 tires)





should probably list mods if any too....





maybe this could be a sticky.../ similar to the mpg log
 
According to (pickuptrucks.com) Estimated Performance Specs: Stock 2005 XLS RWD

0-60 8.76 Seconds

1/4 Mile 16.72 Seconds @ 80.69 MPH



Not exactly a "funny car". The ST does beat a Delorean by 1.7 seconds from 0-60. LOL

The NHRA is NOW using a 1000 ft. track, NOT a quarter mile, 1320 ft., due to safety reasons.

my 04 adren 4x4 with a magnaflow cat back & k&n intake ran a 16.8

my 07 4x4 limited with magnaflow catback v-8 ran a 16.2



don't remember the 0-60 times. will look for the slips

Here are my GPS Performance for PPC numbers. I use a HP IPAQ rx5915 with Windows Mobile 5 and a built in SiRF star III gps chipset. (Please do not insinuate that I am in any way "cheating" these values. I run the program and it starts itself on any motion and stops itself when it either measures the terminal speed of the length. I know it IS NOT A DRAGSTRIP TIMING DEVICE. I am posting this ONLY as information.





0 - 30 (10 attempts) avg. 4.362 sec. best 3.487 worst 5.314

0 - 60 (3 attempts) avg. 10.875 sec. best 10.138 worst 11.892

1/8th mile (1 attempt) 12.266 sec.

1/4 mile (2 attempts) 17.669 sec. best 17.589 worst 17.749



All of these runs were with with a stock 4.0 2WD 2003 XLT Premium.



I have not done any runs since I got my XCal, I am still waiting on a cat-back before I run any more tests
 
Took my Trac to the Drags at infinion a few yrs back ( all night races)

Smoked thru the water box, got lined up, official comes over and says, you can run but we will not be able to post any times for your Trac.

Why not I asked:angry:

He said the sun dial will not work at night:p
 
Or the ET/MPH Display doesn't have enough "digits".

Like "yours" better BB. ;)

Just remembering the 1/4 mile times someone posted and then got blasted for 20 or so pages because they were not dragstrip times, but G-force times.



It got ugly, I'll try to find the thread
 
OK, I get it now. As I recall, that post got pretty "nasty".

I have NO intention of revisiting that heated fiasco. Thanks.
