I'm looking into getting BF Goodwrench All Terrain T/A's and I was wondering what the biggest size I could put on is. I have no lift and don't want any rubbing. Pics would help if anyone has this setup. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I'm not talkin 38's or anything. I just don't know tire sizes well. Plus I wanted to get some pics to be sure this is the tire I want. Thanks for the reply though.

With no lift at all, I'd say 265/70-16's. Turn the torsion bars up a little and 265/75-16's. I had 265/70's on my Ranger and the middles wore out pretty quick, so I think a 16x7 rim is really too narrow or at least don't run more than 30 psi. I'm probably going to get some 16x8 rims in the spring.

I run 265/75 BFG's on my stock-sized (16x7) rim. I have a TT/Shackle lift so it looks really nice. I haven't noticed any uneven wear (granted, I've only had them on for about 6000 miles) but do have minor rubbing on the front sway bar when making sharp turns. I've heard of people putting 285/75's on their stock rim, but IMO that would bubble a little too much.

You best bet would most likely be a set of 265/70's or 265/75's.

Here's a pic of mine with the BFG's.

Increasing tire size is going to decrease accelleration performance, but may pick up a little mpg. Remember that your odometer will read less than actual miles traveled.

You will be able to fit the 265/75/16 BFG All Terrain TA's on your ST w/o any mods. I switched out the factory tires the day I left the dealership. HOWEVER, I wouldn't get the BFG's though. I would get the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors. They are sill very aggressive looking and will function far better. I have them on my ST replacement vehaicle (05 Jeep Liberty Diesel). I originally bought the BFG's and then took them back and opted for the Wrangler Silent Armors instead. I did eventually have leaf springs added in the rear and a TT up front. BY FAR, my ST was the most attractive looking vehicle I have ever owned. If your looking for a great tire and don't plan on doing ANY offroading , get the Goodyear Fortera Silent Armors. The Silent Armor is the key. Goodyear swapped out one of the steel belts for a nice layer of Kevlar. I have the 255/70/16's on my Liberty and they actually absorb more road noise and road shock. Thats what they are designed to do. They are great in the snow and worth every penny. My ST was an 04 ADRENALIN and it did fit the 265/75/16's w/o any trouble and that was before any mods. Best of luck to ya.

I just bought a set of the Goodyear Silent Armours a few weeks back. I posted about it and people jumped all over me for it. Nobody liked the kevlar idea for the money. I paid $800 plus I sent in a $100 rebate. So for $700 out the door, mounted and balanced......I like the tires, they arent noisey on the highway and work great in the snow.

All in all, I like what I got.

I have pics of the tires in my library if anyody wants to check them out......

275/70/16's on mine. very minor rub at complete turn. that was solved by cutting about an 1/8 of an inch of the plastic inside fender well.

Fmarano, WOW, people jumped all over you for that. Thats insaine. Your entitled to your own opinion. I personaly think those tires are great. The kevlar idea was brilliant. I too got a great rebate. $100.00 mail in rebate and 12 months same as cash.

Here are my 285/75R16 on the factory 16's
