What should we call the ST "generations"?

My Propsal; Don't call the '01 - '05's anything more than Sport Trac's. '07's and on, Gen2. This will also allow all old and new posts to remain identified with the first generation design.



Being a Star Trek fan, all except the most extreme fanatics refererd to the original series as simply Star Trek. Calling it a ST-TNG would definately confuse people and attract the 'rif-raf'.
