Would it be more wise to hold on to the stock wheels or should I sell them? I've posted them on here but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest. I don't necessarily need to sell them but I would like to offset the cost of the new ones a little and I don't really need them. Opinions?

I still have my stockers, they have some of the clearcoat flaking around the lip because the shops always put the whee weights on there instead of the back.

I'd keep them for rollers for the Trac or the Cougar, just get some cheap or free roller tires to put on them. Ya never know when you might need them.

I had a set of the "tear drop" style that were loosing their clear coat. I purchased some OE 5 spoke style on Ebay but still had the old ones to do something with. We have a Hubcap Annie franchise in the Nahville area and they bought them from me for $100. I was glad to get rid of them and all they had to do was refinish and sell.

That's kind of what I'm figuring. I like money, too, though. I'll probably just keep feelers out there and if I get an offer I can't refuse, I'll sell them. Until then, I'll just keep them.

I am keeping the spacers in case I need them for the Cougar. I wouldn't be concerned with running them on the rear. Besides, can't really get enough out of them to make it worth shipping; especially since everyone that seems to be interested in them is from Canada.

I have always kept my oem parts. You dont get any extra for mods. Even as a private seller.

Then I sell the custom parts. It has been along time since I traded a car or truck. Private sales, Im good at. Same with custom or Mod parts. Sometimes the buyer would buy the custom and performance parts I took off.

I even paid Todd Z the core charge for the TB. When that day comes. The Trac will go back to OEM.

How about using the stockers for the winter? A good set of Blizzaks would make the winter driving scene a whole lot more tolerable! JMO, Bob

Thanks Eddie,

That's kind of what I'm thinking but I don't really plan on ever getting rid of the ST until it goes to the crusher. This is to be my off road vehicle and I expect to get at least another 10 years out of it. I doubt I'll ever sell it, especially after it goes solid axle. But I'll probably just hold onto the wheels for now.

Bob,

My winters are your summers, breezy and mosquito-less. Nobody around here even sells the snowflake tires, lol.
