Had a little problem on an icy road this PM and was fortunate to only ditch my beloved ST. Best I can remember, the rear end was trying to get out front, made a dash around the passenger side. My rear tire struck the ditch and the tire busted up the plastic wheel well (there is probably a better name, but I dont know it). Anyway, as stated, I was very fortunate. The impact broke the seal on the tire, but does not seem to have damaged the rim, so I am really just wanting to put a feeler out there and see where I can that piece of black plastic and how much it might run. (2004 4wd)
By the way...if you, like me, have never practices taking your spare down, etc. I recommend checking that process out at least once before having to do it "live" on the side of the road when it is 31 degrees and misty...if for no other reason than to make sure your spare still has air.
