Can anyone confirm that there is a fuel pressure regulator on a 2002 ST and describe where it is located? I can't seem to recognize in on the motor anywhere. Also, my OEM (Ford) shop manual does not mention a pressure regulator in the index at the back of the manual or elsewhere inside the manual, as far as I can tell.

I am troubleshooting my fuel pump using a pressure gauge and one of the standard tests I have used in the past on other vehicles is to temporarily remove the vacuum line from the pressure regulator to see if/how the pressure level changes.

Thanks in advance for any information.

I see now why I never seen a regulator on the fuel rail...

So our tracs are a returnless, fuel regulating system??
