Where can I buy the following products for my JDBox:

1) Poly-fill

2) Carpet and adhesive spray

3) Enclosure sealant

Are these widely available at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc?...

Lowe's or Home Depot!!! Now if you are talking on-line...go to Crutchfield.com

The polyfill you may have to go to a stereo shop....but then again a Fabric Crafts store will have it. They call it "Stuffing"

P.S. DO NOT go to the local grocery store and ask for Stuffing....its a totally different thing. Jsut thought you should know! ahha

The walmart should have everything you are looking for. I am not sure where you are and what stores you have around you but the big walmart will have all that.

I got some Poly-Fil at Walmart for $3.25. Not bad at all but I got way more than I need.

Thanks for the feedback. Now I just need carpet and sealant.

I used regular old caulk I had lying around for sealing my enclosure. It works great and sounds awesome for a quick weekend project. Just giving you another option in case you can't find what you need. ;)

Seconded on the caulk. You don't want to use a bulky sealant (like expanding foam) as that will screw your interior air space up. It's a little late now, but screw and glue the sides together, along with some regular non-hardening caulk on the inside and outside will provide an airtight enclosure.

For adhesive, pick up some 3M Super 90 from Home Depot or Lowe's. That stuff holds almost anything. I used it to cover my boxes and they are still going strong a few years later.
