The following is an interesting exercise.... You answer a few questions then click the "find your candidate button" and the program selects the candidate whose position on the issues is most like your own... You may be surprised at what you find.... Click the link below:

Yes, interesting. Good site. Barack and Hillary scored 7 (seven) each. LOL.

Good info, I actually enjoyed doing this...

Ha, I'm winning so far! Hillary and Obama only got a 4 on mine! And Chris Dodd and Mike Gravel got a 1!

Tied between Fred Thompson, Tom Tancredo, and Duncan Hunter.

Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson were my highest at 48 and 45 points respectively.

Clinton and Obama were 10 points.

Here's a Shocker for those that have been here awhile....

Hillary Clinton was my LOWEST SCORING choice!!

Tompson, Hunter @ 50

Huckabee @ 35

Guliani @ 27

Clinton, Obama, Edwards @ 5

For all you Ron Paul loving, Short Bus Riding folks.... Paul @ 30

Like I needed this to tell me that I disagree with just about everything that spews forth from that vile woman's mouth.

1. McCain

2. Hunter

3. Tancredo

Although I wouldn't vote for McCain in the primary because I think he's too old.

A guess a lot depends on the importance placed on the issues. McCain came up as my candidate. Probably because favoring the Death Penalty and Tough Immigration laws were very important to me.

I'm afraid the election is once again going to come down to who I DON'T want to be president.

On the Dem side, it will be Clinton/Obama.

For the GOP, I predict Guiliani. Possibly Tancredo as VP to placate the base. But it's too early to predict really.

I'm agitated about the whole process, being that I'm old enough to remember when the primaries actually meant something. Now if someone wins the first few primaries then the contributions dry up for everyone else. The conventions have become coronations and not a selection process to find who has the best platform, ideas, and chance of winning.
