Had one. In fact, I waited 15 hours outside Walmart in order to get it launch day. As many mentioned, its great for kids and for the whole family. However, for the avid gamer, specifically those who really only play alone, it's very very boring. After less then a week, I passed it on to my step sisters and purchased a 360. Don't get me wrong, its worth the $250 price tag, just not for me.

Anyone in this thread who doesn't want their Wii, I will trade an Xbox 360, controller, and cables for it. Can throw in a game or two also. Pop me an email.

R Shek -

You have to be able to connect to the Internet and then go to the

You can connect via WiFi to your Wii console. A lot of what you read will talk about connectors and wires and such but WiFi works.

Once you have this connection you need to download the Check Mii out Channel - this is all in the directions somewhere. I did it months ago so I forget the actual steps.

Good luck.

You will be amazed at the creativity and what can be created. Alf is probably the one that has me wondering how they did it the most.

The WiFi connection was the first thing I setup. I knew there were about 6 months worth of downloads that the system needed for upgrades as it was. I was also trying to get connected to my brother-in-law's system. Too bad they don't stay online long enough to connect.

I'll go look for the channel tonight if I get a chance.

Thanks.

Wifi worked fine for me, but since the router was right there for the PS3 and 360, I just hard wired it to avoid issues.

For anyone still looking for a Wii, check Target this coming Sunday. They will have some ;)
