will bed extender fit with tonneau cover

I have an 01 ST with the hard tonneau cover. I'm looking into buying a bed extender on ebay. Will the bed extender fit with the hard cover? Can both of them be on the ST at the same time?

Be sure you get the one for the ST........there are ones for the F-150 that are the same width but a little longer and will not work w/ tonneau cover

i agree with Cajun. Originally I bought an extender on Ebay & learned later that it was for an F-150 because I couldn't flip it with my hard split tonneau cover. I sold it & bought one specifically for the ST & have no problems. The F150 works but not with a tonneau on

As the others pointed out. The F-150 cage will fit, it will not flip over with the cover as it can not clear the hinge of the cover. You have to undo the hinge pins, raise the cover a bit, then you can flip the cage.



I am sitting at the airport right now so I can not do this for you.



See if someone will measure from a know area, (like the pivots) straight back to get a measurement. Then see if your e-bay person will do the same. If the e-bay is longer, do not buy it...

The measurements I got were a total length of approx. 24 inches and from the Pivots back a length of approx. 23.5 inches. I measured from centre of pivots to the centre of the back bar. I say approximate because I may be off by a slight amount on the numbers. anyways I hope this helps.

Why not check the Swap and Sell on this site? Alot of folks get them and have no need for them, and you will probably get one for a reasonable price.
