Winshield Washer Delay

Anyone esle have a delay when using the windshied washer? It takes mine a few pushes and about 4 wipes to get fluid on the window and I am concerned that dragging dry dirt over a dry window may scratch the glass. All the vehicles I have owned shot fluid on the first push of the washer.

Should I bring this up on my next Ford visit or is this normal?

Mine whipes once and then sprays if I hold it for a second. I don't like how it wipes dry



I'm told it's normal, but I've never tried to push the lever head in to cause a spray, I've only held it in for a second or so.

Mine sprays imediatly. I keep the fluid top off all the time. More head pressure on the pump.

Mine sprays right away too. Diddo on Fast Eddies idea.

My 03 Sprays right away and will spray for a timed 3 seconds or so....



My 04 Only sprays as long as you hold the button.....
