wont go into 4wd low

hi all, I own a 2007 v8limited with 34000 miles. The other day I tried to put it into 4wd low,and the 4wd low light didn't illuminate. this was only the 2nd or third time using this function. I refered to the manual to make sure I used the proper procedure(put truck in neutral hold brake and hit button) anyhoo,the light doesnt come on. Any input would be great.BTW the 4wd high light comes on and at start up all dash lights come on including the 4wd low light. thanks again

Try putting it into 4wd high first, Then go into 4wd LOW.... IT will not go from 2wd Directly into 4wd LOW...



ALSO I get the truck into 4wd, then stop the truck, Put it in neutral, switch the switch to 4wd low and then it allways goes in perfectly for me...

ty for the replies. looks like I will be bringing it to the dealer,wont go into LOW no matter what I tried.
