Started laying wood floors in my house yesterday. It was time to start transforming it into mine. Home depot, Lowes have become my favorite stores. I got this floor though at Capital Carpet and Tile, Wood. Here is a pic of the dining room area. For a laminate floor it is very very close to looking like the real thing. Its by Wilson Art.:D

Looks nice. I am sure your happy with the end results.

Been there done that. Did a small walk way to see what all was required and how well it turned out.

Well..... It must have turned out pretty well as my wife had me do half of our dining room and the up stairs hallway.....

The stuff in my Dining room is 7/8 of an inch thick. Had to put it onto a concrete slab using a glue to bond it to the concrete. Pretty much the same theory as tile.

I love my hard wood floors

Best part, I did not have to do them. Had them put in when the house was built. Even better part, the builder misquoted the cost and got $8000 worth of wood floors for $5000. Thank goodness it was in the contract!!!!:D

WilsonArt Red Label is the best laminate out there IMHO, it looks so much more natural than other brands.

We installed the Natural Walnut on our home and the appraiser did actually had a hard time believing it was laminate.
