Two patients limp into two different medical offices with the same complaint. Both have painful trouble walking and appear to require hip surgery.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an

x-ray, which isn't reviewed for another week and finally has his surgery scheduled 7 months away, pending the review boards

decision based on his age and remaining value to society.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever taken to a vet.

The SECOND is a Senior Citizen on Obama care...

If, in November, he and his cronies get another term, we'll all have to find a good vet!

I see another difference. The owner of the pet is out $10,000. The Sr. Citizen pays his co-pay of $25 and lives a comfortable life.

That's what it cost me to get my shoulder surgery.

Educate yourself. If you have insurance, you're good to go.

'07 ST, you don't have that quite right. It's under RomneyCare that you get to see the vet. Under ObamaCare, the vets are all too busy treating dogs to see any humans as well--but the vets wouldn't be busy under RomneyCare, as no dog will go near anything having to do with Romney.

:cheeky:

I disagree ,my pet won't have it any better than me. I decided not to treat her because of her age. The same will happen to me.

After November. At 70yrs old, Kiss your butt good bye. They will be training a whole new medical Staff. Called the Devorkians. They will give you free burial at one of the Hidden cemetarys. People of class and politicians get the numbered concrete tombs. All others get the plastic outhouse like caskets....LOL...not

Do a search they are out there, all over the country. Two outside of the houston area. Katy and spring. Large enough to hold a 5member family.

The internment camps are another issue. Why is the media ignoring this??

No Im not crazy or a pair of noids...

If they are not what they seem. Someone inform me what they are. Every state Has at least one of each.

The question is, will Obama's positives outweight Romney's negatives in the minds of independent voters? From what I've seen so far, Romney's gotta stop being so vague and being such an ass-kisser to the ultra-right fringe.

will Obama's positives

Remind me what those are again.

I've said since they started narrowing down that Romney could not beat Obama. I'm still holding to that barring another major and unpopular legislation push by Obama.

It still amazes me how many people think they now have free health insurance. Just blows my mind. Why don't we just go ahead and put it into full effect tomorrow so people can see how much "free" stuff they get?

How nice of the benevolent government to say that healthcare insurance is so good for you, you MUST buy it or pay a penalty tax. If you can't afford the (soon to be higher) premiums, you won't be subject to the penalty tax, though.

So, basically, if you couldn't afford insurance before, prices are going up and you still won't be able to afford it. You're also too poor to follow the law, so no penalty. You're still poor and have no health insurance and this law really hasn't helped you a single bit. Continue what you've been doing, flood the ER and walk out without a bill. Give a fake name just for fun.

Rich people will notice little difference, stay on the insurance they already have and just pay a little more for it. Going to be a small percentage of their income and hardly noticeable to them. If they choose to self insure and pay the penalty, still not going to likely notice a change.

Middle class people will pay higher premiums because insurance premiums can no longer be based on risk and we just all have to pay higher prices. So, now if you want to maintain the same insurance you already have, you pay more for it. As a middle class person, more income must be allocated to insurance premiums when most middle class people are month of bad luck away from financial ruin. If you are middle class and can't afford the higher premiums, you'll be taxed as a penalty. So, now you're middle class, a month away from financial disaster, have no health insurance (increasing already close risk of financial ruin), and to add insult to injury, the government is going to charge you a penalty tax.

If you have a pre-existing condition and insurance premiums are too high for you to afford. Fret not, they just came up the same price for everyone, so you're no longer alone. It's a law that you can't be charged more for insurance because of your condition, so now everyone must pay the same high cost.

Anyone see this any another way?
