Apparently it ties into the inlet air temp sensor and tricks the ecu into thinking the air is cooler, therefore running the engine rich with more fuel. I still call it a gimmick. Give me a calibrator any day. You can set more parameters safely...

I actually was curious myself last year and bought one..but it was alot cheaper...Just to see what it would do...You hook it to Your MAF sensor and it makes it run rich..crank it all the way up and it runs REALLY rich...I didn't notice much with it...

Can one of you guys tell me what 2 wires in the MAS this thing hooks too and which gets the red and which the black?
