    Door Trim Panels

If I wasn't paying for it I would probably just go with the touch up paint, but there are two decent sized spots, and the person who scratched it is willing to pay... I took it by the dealership yesterday and his estimate to replace the panel with a new one was only $40 more than the...

    Door Trim Panels

Someone bumped me in the parking lot and gave me a little scratch. Fortunately the scratch is on the plastic trim. I read that this was just taped on, so I figured I could pop it off and drop it off to get painted. I suggested this to the guy at the body shop, but he said that I would never...

    Stock Tires Question

I just dumped my stock tires at 19000. They had already started to cup. It is almost hard to believe the difference in the ride, handling and especially the road noise. It is hard to justify buying new tires when you don't really "need" them, but I was happy with the decision as soon as I...

Folding rear seats in 04, 05

I have an '05 and the seats do lock down. The 40 side is easy, but the 60 takes a good bit of force to get it to lock. Since I am not a very large person the easiest thing for me to do is to stand on it. Then to get it to unlock you have to push down on the seat some to release the tension...

Cargo Issues Part 2... Need your creativity

You could also take Todd's idea and use it to make a mount for the Yakima mounts. So instead of the clip coming up into a bar that goes across the bed, it goes up to a piece that rests on top of the bedrail and it is attached to tiedowns at the front and the back. Then on top of that you mount...

    iPod

I wanted to post an update... I got the cable yesterday and it works exaclty as promised. Now I just need to figure out how to mount the ipod so that it is easy to get to.

    iPod

I just ordered a cable that plugs into the AUX Port on my Kenwood deck. This solution provides the lineout sound, charges the iPod and lets me control the music from the iPod. I tried the interface from Kenwood that allows you to control the iPod from the headunit, but it was really a pain to...

Looking for a Soft Snapless Tonneau Cover

I have an extang "peel on & off" cover. The way the cover "peels on" I am not sure how much trouble it would be in real cold weather. The one thing that bugs me about it is when you roll it up the plastic peice that runs along the edge makes it hard to get it rolled up tightly.

    Beltminder

OK...I know this topic has been covered, and I have been through the archives and found all the posts about the beltminder. The current (2005) ones have the same instructions as my owners manual which doesn't work. I noticed in my manual it says something like "(Late Availability)" next to the...

    Computer not keeping correct time...

I am new here, but I would guess that the clock gaining time has nothing to do with that battery. As Walter said PC's are not great at keeping time. If you are using XP take a look at this article it will tell you how to setup the PC to correct the time automaticly.
