I remember when I did my car a few years ago, I had to wear gloves. Making the stitching really tight to look good is really hard on the hands.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I lucked out and found that all I needed to do was ground the wire in order for the video to work. Best solution was free! :)

If just grounding the head unit's parking brake wire doesn't work, does anyone know which wire I need to connect to on the ST? I have the wiring diagram from the link below, but I can't see a parking brake wire.

My first purchase for my ST was a locking gas cap. I think the brand is Stanley. It was a few bucks cheaper at Walmart vs Kragens/Autozone.

You don't need to remove the airbag. Just undo the vent piece (on top of the dash), then look through the windshield from the outside to find the code (white sticker).

Maybe the service manager could just trade you the new Trac for your troubles... :)

Pay close attention to the door lock when re-installing the panel. I was in a rush and slightly bent mine when re-installing the driver's panel.

In an '01 I think it is #17 (20A) in the fuse panel located on the left-hand side of the instrument panel (facing the driver's door). Check your owner's manual for more info.

Rodger, please post back about your experience with the repair shop. I might need a good place to bring my ST in case my tranny has problems too.
