My 2001 did that to me, I started using my other key and it works fine. I suppose I should get another key made for a spare.

Ok, thanks for the idea. I called my radiator place and they will do it for $550. I called a few other places and they all said the whole dash must be removed. Yuk:(, I will probably take it down in the morning and have it done and get it over with. I just hope everything works when I get it...

Heaven? I drive our Toyota every chance I get, it has more power and gets much better mileage than the Sport Trac. After driving the Toyota for a while, the Sport Trac feels like a big fat slug. And it (Sport Trac) has a K/N and Flowmaster.
