    Tranny O/D problem

Anyone have a problem with the O/D not engaging?? My 2003 S/T with 85,000 miles just started having problems disengaging the overdrive when needed. At first you had to push the button several times to disengage, then you had to place in nuetral first and now it will not disengage at all.:angry...

Remove "CAM LOCK" factory Alignment Lock?

Gavin, I'm guessing when you say Goodyear RTS you mean Goodyear WRANGLER RTS tires and if thats the case, your tires are the problem. Search the forum and you will see that these tires cup terribly and cause all kids of vibration problems. Mine wore OK as far as mileage went but I...

    Emergency Brake shoes

I bought the rotors and pads from http://www.raceshopper.com/. 150.00 fro the front and 190.00 for the rear. Pads were about 120.00. The emergency brake shoes were 17.99 from Advance. As far as the parts from Raceshopper, delivery was fast and the service was great. They had about the best...

    Wheel Torque

Does anyone know what the proper torque specs for the S/T's custom wheels?? Does the color dot on the wheel stud indicate torque?? Stupid questions I know, but the owners manual doesnt specify and I dont have the color coded impact torque sockets ! I always did it the old fashione way, with a...

Crazy price to line-x hitch and westin bar !! ARGH!! (Do it your self stuff??)

Todd, You might want to try POR-15. I used it on my F-150 frame and on the underside of my lawn mower deck. Stuff is hard as a rock! Very hard to chip. I used black but you can buy topcoats in different colors. Not sure about using it in a bed but on anything else metal (like your hitch, etc..)...

Caymen; The trailer does not have have brakes (sounds messed up but true) In VA trailers of this weight class and single axle were not required to have brakes.(They are now) Thats the next upgrade on the trailer list though. My point about the back brakes is not that they dont serve a...

I have an 03 ST 4wd that I tow a 3200 lb boat with. Last year, coming down a mountain in western VA, I experienced brake fade for the first time. The Pucker factor was HIGH!! I never had a problem with this prior to this and have not since. However, I am going on the same trip and before I go I...
