07 gas mileage

Can anyone tell me what mpg they're getting with the 4.6 litre V8?

About 16 around town and between 19 and 22 on the highway (depending on speed...I can get 22 if I'm going 65 and 19 if I'm between 65 and 75)

Not exactly sure yet but I am definately gassing up more often than with the 2001 V6. Doesn't it take the computer at least 500 miles to learn the correct fuel trim? I think I read that in the manual.

How many gallons is the tank? How many miles per tank are you getting?



I'm going Sat to drive a V8 Limited.

I think it's 22.3 gallons. I haven't been calculating miles by the tank - I have the electronics package that calculates everything for me.

22.5 gallons in tank

I have 355 miles and just had to fill the tank. 70% highway, 30% town, took 21 gallons. 16.9 mpg. On road stayed around 70mph.



I had the diesel Excursion prior to this. I LOVE THIS TRUCK.



NEEDS (so far):

Rear window defroser

Swap out door speakers for Alpines (done)

Something to wake up the HP under 3000 RPM's (other than a $7,200 supercharger)
