Hey everyone....

I can use some help here... I called the local dealership and I asked them what I should have done at 100,000 kilometres as I am approaching that number quickly. I have a 2001 ST 4x4, and they said I should change the trans fluid, change the coolant and replace the spark plugs. Now I was wondering if the 500 dollar US bill is warranted?

I read the spark plug 'how to' in the projects forum and I think I could do those myself. I didn't think that with the mileage I have that they would need to be done already, but for the 150US price tag for having them change them is incentive for me to do it myself.

My trans does feel a little off, which I will have them do the flush incase they find something that needs to be fixed/replaced.

Just wondering if anyone thinks that the plugs don't need to be changed yet?

Adam: I'd change the plugs not because of them being worn, but for how long they've been in there. You may have a tough time getting them loose.

Have new set of wires ready to go with the plugs...wont have to skin your knuckles, but once..with the age of them some wires may come apart...
