Hey guys...

Im getting a set of 17x9 and 17x10.5 wheels

what would be a good street tire size for both? kinda want to stay in the realm of the stock height but....

and is 17x10.5 too large of a wheel or too deep of a wheel??? seems huge...

think i should just get the 17x9 all the way around...

:huh::wacko::blink:

10.5's are wide, but the offset would be the deciding factor of how well they will fit. What type of tire are you looking for directional, all purpose, weather?

I see you'll be getting the staggered fitment...SICK!!! Won't be too large IMO.

I was thinking of doing the same, except I'm gonna stick with a 20 in. rim...

Tires I'm running right now are 275/45R20. They're perfect for my current set up...

would the 10.5in wheel fit in the well? or would it punch out??? i want it to be kinda flush...

and i have a 1.5in spacer for it aswell....

I'm not the best person to speak with about backspacing and offset stuff so hopefully someone else will chime in...

What I do know is that my wheels have an 18mm offset and 5.43" backspacing, wheel size is 20x8.5", rear wheels spaced with 1.5" adapters...

They're pretty much flushed with the rear fender thanks to the spacers...

When I get my new set of rims (keyword: when), I'm gonna look into a good set of nittos to wrap around them...
