My dad had a 76 Granada years ago. 302, auto, air, and little else. It would scoot pretty good.

Saw a tubbed Pro Street Granada a couple weeks ago at a cruise.

Main thing is just look for rust, bottom of the front fenders especially. Simple fact is that the Granada's heyday was in the mid-70's when American cars were crap.

That car in any MYST members lifetime will never be collectable and nothing but a headache.

They were a generic POS.

I agree with Bill. All the granadas I ever saw in my area, were. Maintenance nightmares. They fell apart in 5 yrs, when used as a daily driver. The in line 6's had oiling problems. The cam shaft on many locked up at highway speed. Ruined the whole motor.

The only problems I had with mine were u-joints, control arm bushings, and exhaust manifolds. Had my exhaust disintegrate one night on the way home from a class trip from Lafayette to Shreveport on I49 in Nachitoches. Made the car sound like a log truck. It did get a big boost in power, though! :driving:

Hey Tom, I have the photo in my pictures in my computer but am unable to post it with a reply. I guess I just don't know what to do.

Can you give me a Quick lesson? Thanks

Ok, I think this will work. Go to members list. Find David Clary, then look in my file library to see photo's of our Granada.

i know it will not be a collectiable, i mentioned it was listed in the local paper under the "collectiable cars" section.

my friend and i were going to go partners on it because it sounded very good and you never see them around. not spending a ton of money, just wanted something different.

made my 3rd call today and no response.

david, thanks for the pics in your library.
