Got the new CR today. Shows the ST in the New and Notable section of new cars. Cars to watch in 2006-2007.

I dont like the switch of the frame and suspension. They should keep using the ford ranger set up so that the off road enthusiasts dont get left out. Sure a smoother ride will be nice and a wider track will be good for roll over specs, but I like a truck.. a truck truck that can go places. A truck like the new one that is lifted 6 inches with 35's... would look sooo sexy. :)

Just me. :)

you look pretty happy, GM

Longe, lower and wider sounds great since mine is used on-road only, and that will be less prone to rollover. I will go w/the V6 again since gas will probably be north of $4.00 by the time I trade in the '03 on one of these, and my M3 convertible will fill my speed needs.

GM is right. There is not suposed to be a 2006 Trac. The 2007 Trac will be a late 2006 model, but it will not be a 2006.

I saw a 2007 Trac (Not the SVT one) on Hines Drive heading away from Dearborn. It was not convered much at all, just the black nose cover, no zebra. It looked so good, but once again there was pretty heavy traffic and I was going the opposite way so I couldn't turn around and try to get closer.

Oh well, looked really good though! It looks nothing like that either, consumer reports knows very little about the ST from the looks of it.

"geared more toward on-road performance than off-roading and utility" -CR :(
