All 4 speakers replaced and obviously the sound is much better than stock. Mine are paired with the factory head unit (for now) and an 8" Kicker sub. The cab is lined with sound deadening (thanks previous owner!).
Not rushing things its about a 2 hour job with basic tools.
The speakers are a bolt in match. no mounting brackets required. The wire harness is the Metra 72-5601 available on Amazon.
Quality of the Kenwood's are disappointing to average for bass (alone without the sub) and excellent for the mids and highs. Paired with a sub it's a really good combo. Without a sub I'd shoot with something that has more bass. I'm sure when I replace the head unit will make a substantial difference to the audio quality as well.
Speakers: Kenwood KFC-C8696PS
Harness: Metra 72-5601
