Well, I have to tell you it looks pretty awesome however I was at work, left the camera with the mechanic and he didnt snap one flippin pix :( but it functions perfecct, the over drive wire was lengthened by 2 inches, the shaft was cut .75 inches, and he drilled two holes in the shaft to secure the handle just like it was in the 2010 mustang -

If I had to rate this project - it took him about three hours - The mods that had to happen to do it again - 1) need the shifter handle and mechanism from the mustang because you need the handle, the interior part of the shaft because the STA is not the same (it needs to depress when you squeeze the trigger) so you have to take the nylon center shaft out of the mustang unit and then the same for then STA - It had to be cut down along with the Steel shaft to match the height of the GT handle. Then you have to take apart the gliding strip that has a 360 degree hole and swap it for the one from the GT which is oval however it is too fat and you have to use scissors to trim down both sides and then coat it with petroleum jelly so it glides easy and will for years. Then snap it all together and lengthen your OD wire a few inches, snake it through the shifter and plug it in (this took 15 minutes because its so tight and the area is like an obstacle course - test the OD to make sure it works, not just the light but drive it and make sure you get your 6-5 downshift - get your wires wrong, the light comes on but the double shift does not happen. Then the tricky part - with the key on, push your brake to activate the shift interlock solenoid - you will see that it hits the shortened base - get your dremel out and grind a millimeter off the little black sing arm so it returns to its perch. if you dont do this, you wont get your key out of the ignition - after this - put it all back together - while mine was apart, a small hole was drilled in the bottom of the console and my phone cradle was hard wired so its drop and go charging. Put it all back together and you will just love the look but the access to the cup holders is better. We should have put in the memory seat button but he ran out of time. We have the switch and the module so it looks like two screws and some wiring then its done as well. Hope this helps since he didnt do any pictures. The whole cost was $160 and three hours In a way this is how it should have been from the factory as it complements the spirit of this project.
