5 minutes alone

Just give my 5 minutes alone with the punks that cruzed my neighborhood Saturday night. They were armed with a pellet gun shooting out car windows. Unfortunately they missed mine and hit the driver side passenger door putting a rather large dimple and dent down to the bare metal. :angry: Good thing I have insurance, $100 deductible for $500's in damage. What ever happened to the drive-ins and hanging out at the local roller rink?

Fmarano...you managed to get some money from some punk kids? If so, you're my hero! 99.9999999% of the time, since they're "kids", they get out of paying for it, or getting any kind of punishment for it.

I think 5 minutes would be enough for me too, I'm a former marine... you would be surprised at the amount of damage a marine can do in 5 minutes.

Yes Baron. I was driving and some 17 yr old kids threw an egg from their moving vehicle at my Trac. I was doing 45mph. I turned around and his piece of crap S10 was no match for my Trac. I might have been reckless doing 80-90mph catching them, but they soon ran a stop sign and it just so happend a cop saw them. He pulled them over and I also pulled over......explained my story and took the driver to court for the damages that oocured to my Trac. $600 to paint the drivers door. I hope they learned a lesson.......



The egg etched the paint on my drivers door. Actually the shell of the egg did. Like I said I was doing 45mph and if he was, that egg was traveling at 90mph.......good thing I didnt have my window open or else I could have been hit in the side of the face or eye, who knows. The kids apoligized in court, but I just wanted my money.

I know I did some foolishness when I was young, but we always respected others property..

The reason they do what they do is because there are no real consequences. If they are a juvinile they will just get a recommend and that's it. Even if convicted, all juvinile convictions are expunged or at least sealed when they become an adult. Remember canning? I thought it was a good idea since no matter how much money you have it doesn't lesson the pain.

lol, that's gotta hurt. However, I'll volunteer to pull people out using them as the tow rope, after all, I probably have a bit more torque...which means they'll be stretched a bit more. In fact, I prefer to get a running start when pulling someone out...maybe 40 miles per hour??

it all starts at home !, the parents are to blame. i see it all the time, a-hole parents driving like idiots while the kids are in the car and then giving other people the finger while driving. at the supermarket, parents cursing in front of the kids or while other children are around.

parents who don't teach respect and proper behavior ! what do you expect the kid to do? they follow what the parents do!!.

Wow soo much hostility, I guess we all love our ST's. I like all the pain and suffering suggestions. I agree with Gars s, unfortunately this kind of behavior begins at home, i.e partenting or in this case lack of. I would love restution from the punks but I also think the parents should also be held accountable. Parents of disfunctional brats sould also be required to attend some sort of class and made as inconvient to them as possible. After all I have to corrodinate time off from work, get a rental car arrange transpertation to and from the shop. I know I could have the parents and kids drive me around town for 3 days.
