60/40 seat fold down lock

OK, this might seem like a simple question, but I did a search and no answer.

Does the 60% seat lock when it folds down or is it just the drivers side rear that does.

If it does then does anyone know why mine might not be? I have the head rest flipped the correct way, the seat folds down far enuff, it just wont lock. There is nothing under the seat that would be blocking it either.

I have an 02 and neither of them lock when they are folded down. As far as I know there is only the lock to keep them upright.

Both sides lock down on my 2002. Do your seats have little release levers on the sides?

Mine is a 05 and the drivers side does lock down...you just gotta give it a shove.

On my '04 they'll lock down but only if you shove them hard or sit on the folded sit to provide a little extra weight.

My 40 locks easily, the 60 needs to be pushed harder.

Both seats all years lock in the up and down position.



Most of the seats need a little help to get into the locked down position. With some effort, they will lock.

I have a 2001 Job 1

Both sides fold down. But the 60% side is a little harder to get it to lock. have to get on it and hope.



i think it might be a little harder with leather then Cloth ot visa-versa

Both seets lock down on all models, but because of the differences in seat padding depending on interior options, some require a lot of effort pushing down to get them to lock.

I agree w/ Fer-my 40 locks better than my 60-no biggie...

They do lock... Check for obstructions and try again!

They lock on my 01. It's really tight when they do, so I don't lock them.
