This is a completely Autonomous Sport Trac designed for the DARPA Grand Challenge. Unfortunately it spent 1hr 7m on the course and did not even complete one mile. Not sure what the story is yet, but sounds like a malfunction. Four teams completed the course this year, two had H1's, one was an Escape Hybrid, and another was a VW Toureg Diesel. The NaviGATOR (my alma mater) completed only 8 of the 132 miles with their custom vehicle seen at the link below.
