You know, sometimes the simplest solutions work the best. The indicator light for the heated seats is mounted in such a way that it is not visible to the driver. I didn't want to wire remote LED's, so I I followed up on someone's suggestion, and mounted a small convex mirror on the inside driver's door panel. The mirror is a 2" DIA. adhesive backed spot mirror which I mounted so that I can see the indicator light while maintaining a normal driving position. I purchased the mirror at Walmart. $1.95 and two minutes later, I was on my way - no more struggling to see if the heater is on or off. :)

Do a project write up on this, or show some pics, I think that is a great idea!!!

I'll do a quick project write up with pictures this evening. Can I use a "half wrench" on the complexity scale?

Thats a lot easier then the project I did might have to do that. Still havent actually done my project need to do that soon. Good idea whoever thought of it

Sport Trac drivers are the brightest people in the world!

(especially if they drive a zinc yellow or competition orange trac)

;)

Rampo,

Now that is actually a brilliant idea!!! It's simple, inexpensive, low-tech, and solves the exact problem, no more and no less.
