I don't get what's so special..... it's just a "rat rod" like thousands of other people have built before. They didn't even have a decent pic of the truck in the article.:unsure:
There is somebody in Canada building his own Hummer H1. He started with sheet metal, though. Last I saw he was almost finished. It was painted and everything.
I can't get the site to come up for the Homemade Hummer. It comes back with a message that they are moving the F150 site he's documenting it on. He started it on an F150 frame, so it's on an F150 site.
I feel cheated--the article says he built it from scratch, yet says that he used a premade frame and actual car parts. "From scratch" does not mean "from prebuilt components", no matter how old and decrepit they are.
