This guy made his own truck from the ground up. You love what he did for his air cleaner.

Fixed link, I hope!

Reminds me of this song:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/t1-zzJnKtDg&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/t1-zzJnKtDg&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I don't get what's so special..... it's just a "rat rod" like thousands of other people have built before. They didn't even have a decent pic of the truck in the article.

I went back and read that, it didn't have what I was talking about. He used a "Bed

Pan" as a air cleaner. Try this link.

There is somebody in Canada building his own Hummer H1. He started with sheet metal, though. Last I saw he was almost finished. It was painted and everything.

I can't get the site to come up for the Homemade Hummer. It comes back with a message that they are moving the F150 site he's documenting it on. He started it on an F150 frame, so it's on an F150 site.

Yeah, the hummer is far cooler.

I feel cheated--the article says he built it from scratch, yet says that he used a premade frame and actual car parts. "From scratch" does not mean "from prebuilt components", no matter how old and decrepit they are. :(
