It warmed up a little over the weekend, so I got my tow hooks back on.

Project Difficulty: 1 Wrench

Tools Needed: 3/4" socket, 3/4" box end, couple of metric sockets for the splash guard, Neosporin, Band-Aid.

1. Remove tow hooks.

2. Drive to chrome shop and drop off hooks.

3. Drive back to chrome shop and pick up hooks.

4. Reinstall.

curious to know how much the chrome shop charged you to do that?

$200 + tax, their minimum is $100 per piece. Money probably would've been better spent on a fuel tank skidplate, but if I didn't blow money on useless crap for my vehicles then I wouldn't be much of a car nut would I?

Really I figure the chrome finish will hold up better than the paint since I do occasionally use my tow hooks as tow hooks. The pics don't do it justice, they did a really nice job. Gotta be different!

Thanks everybody!
