Engine Block Heater

I was looking into an engine block heater, but I do not know that much about them. About how much would I be paying for this, and is it worth it. Are there any good website to look at some of these, and/or are they any brands that might be better than others. For those of you who have one on their truck or car whatever it may be, is it worth it?

All depends on how cold it gets, generally up here people don't plug in their vehicles till it gets below -15 C, (5 F). It helps the vehicle warm up faster and the starting is a little easier. The best type to get are the ones that you install in your block freeze plug. There seems to be an issue in finding these at the moment though, as you will see in the link below.
