Evaporator Case Insulation

Hi everyone,

Just finishing my Evaporator replacement on my ST.

What can I use to replace the insulation around the outside of the evaporator case/housing?

The original is shot and needs to be replaced. I'm thinking if I got some suitable material I could do a better than original job. I've read about an adhesive lined type of stuff.

How about a windshield sun screen. The type that silver foil on one side. The other side is an insulative material. About 3/16" thick. Should be able to cut to fit and glue or tape in place.
