Expedition question

The wife and I are considering buying an 03 Expedition EB from a local dealer. It has a rear flip down DVD system that is wireless headphone capable. Otherwise for audio it uses the car stereo system on an FM frequency.



Anyone know where I can go to get the headphones? My assumption is that a dealer would be pretty expensive. I am also going to have to fix one of the connectors for the rear window defroster. The wire is cut and the little plug that connects to the grid is missing. Any suggestions on that?

it seems to be an aftermarket item and not a ford oem product.

if so, see who it is made by and contact them or try e-bay

Rear window defroster repair kits are available at most auto parts stores. $20 - $30. Also J.C. Whitney:

Thanks for the replies. I do know that the dvd unit is factory installed.

The factory system used wireless headphones. Yes they are pricey.

I did look on ebay but somehow missed those. Wow! Thanks. The dealer just quoted me $66....EACH!
