Anyone have a photo of this or know if I can get it at most local automotive shops? I heard that I could possibly just use a standard 3/8" ratchet with an extension on the handle...
This tool makes it much easier to do it by yourself but if you have an extra pair of hands then a long heavy duty screwdriver or socket extension will do. The hardest part is getting it back on just right. Suggest you take a picture of it if you don't have a diagram.
Not sure about the trac, but I have had and seen cars that the auto barn tool would not have clearance to work...I have made my own with 3/8" keystock, by heating and bending to the angles needed for easy use....
