I would have to disagree about protectionism.



Lets not forget a little thing called the law. Illegal aliens are breaking the law. Those that hire them are breaking the law. No matter what "good" comes from illegal aliens working under the table. They are breaking the law.



It might save you money here, but it will be costing us more than it is saving.



It is against the law and they are breaking the law.

I don't condone breaking the law. Part of my concern on this issue, and I suspect it is the same with LaRue and others, is that so many people here like to throw around the term "illegal alien" when they don't know for a fact that they are even talking about someone who is here or working illegally. They assume.



Everyone likes a scapegoat.

That I agree with. Sexual Harassment, roll over ratings, and talking on a cell phone while driving are all buzz words for a short period of time. It is an easy scapegoat, like you said.
